Before this play (Theatre Play by FTII Students Batch 2022), I thought theater plays would be boring and didn't understand how people could watch actors in one frame for hours. But this play lasted almost 4 hours, and the audience, including me, was completely captivated. I didn't even leave my seat during the ten-minute intermission because I didn't want to lose my spot in the full house, especially with the best seat in the front row. The play made us laugh, cry, remember the village, and think about our responsibilities as humans. After leaving, I felt like silently complaining to my ancestors, realizing they enjoyed the true essence of live theater while we were left with TV entertainment.
